Saracco : Pinot Noir
Area of Production: Bricco Quaglia, a one hectare vineyard in Castiglione Tinella, Piedmont - Italy
Varietal: 100% Pinot Noir.
Wine Making Techniques: Vinification in stainless steel tanks, refining 1/3 new barrels, 1/3 old (2nd and 3rd year) barrels, 1/3 large Italian barrels. After bottling, the wine is aged for an additional 6 months before releasing.
Wine Notes: Saracco Pinot Nero combines the traditional delicate bouquet of red berries and a velvety taste with good acidity, round body, complex structure and high persistence on the palate.
Recommended Food: Pairs with grilled salmon, braised rabbit, pasta with porcini mushrooms as well as roasted duck.
